Hi! my name is Jonathan Michael Pelman (Yoni). I am 38 years old (Divorced with a ghett attached below,) born into an Orthodox family with two older sisters, and live in Jerusalem Israel. After high school, I took a nine-month program at a technical college in Computer Graphics and Desktop Publishing. I currently work for a company called Advanced Communications Group. (The website for the company I work for is (www.acg.com) I am also a freelancer in graphic and web design.

I am very involved in the Orthodox Jewish community in LA. At both Yachad and NCSY offshoot catering to physically and emotionally challenged youth) and Etta Israel (a similarly oriented community service group), I initially joined as a member but graduated to a mentoring role for others. On behalf of the Jewish Federation, I’ve been a devoted fund raiser at each year’s Superbowl Sunday fund drive. I also have a passion for Israel and have visited the country numerous times.

I would describe myself as outgoing, open-minded, conservative, high-energy, spiritual, motivated, and caring. I am quite fulfilled with my career choice because I enjoy being creative and building things from scratch. During my free time, I like going to hang out with Friends, go to the mall, talk on the phone, going to the movies, going to plays at the theater, playing sports, Singing, Dancing, Traveling, Reading Books playing music, and work out. I enjoy learning torah. I hope to build a family that has Torah and Mitzvos at its core.

An important thing to know about me is that I was born with a Disability called Cerebral Palsy, which means a "pause in the brain." It is a Condition usually caused at birth, but NOT a disease. My Cerebral Palsy affects my legs, so I use a walker to get around and a sports wheelchair for long distances. I have absolutely no speech problems and am high functioning. My disability does not stop me from doing things - it only motivates me to push harder in order to reach my goals.

I’m looking for a kind, sensitive, down-to-earth, grounded, young Jewish woman. I offer a good soul and a desire to honor and respect my wife And partner with her to build a Bayit Ne’eman. Because I move slowly, I Hope to find someone who is patient. Though I would prefer to find a wife Who is not wheelchair-bound - it would be easier for both of us if and when I needed #### - I would be accepting of virtually any other physical challenge.

I have always made the most out of my physical limitations - turning each into a character building opportunity. My imperfections have taught me to be humble, kind and patient to others, and all the more determined to succeed as a man and a committed, Orthodox Jew. As the Tehilim say, "Eyzehu Ashir, Ha-Sameah Be-Helko." I am blessed with a loving family, a winning personality, and an indomitable spirit - and look forward to sharing all these blessings with my Beshert.
